Rep. Deutch Announces Congressional Art Contest Winner for District FL-22
Today, Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-22) announced the winner of the Congressional Art Competition for Florida's 22nd Congressional District.
The winning artwork was selected by a panel of judges from the Coral Springs Museum of Art.
This competition is an annual contest sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives in which every congressional district selects a winning piece of artwork from a local high school student. The winning piece will be showcased for one year in the Capitol alongside the winning pieces from congressional districts all over the United States.
"I'm so thoroughly impressed by the artistic talent and skill of students in the 22nd District," said Congressman Deutch. "Art is such an important and valuable form of expression, especially amid the pandemic. I'm proud of each student's work and hope they will continue to use their creativity to produce incredible pieces."
