House Passes Deutch Bill to Strengthen US-Israel Ties
Today, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed the "United States-Israel Cooperation Enhancement and Regional Security Act," legislation introduced by Chairman Ted Deutch (D-FL) and Ranking Member Joe Wilson (R-SC).
The United States-Israel Cooperation Enhancement and Regional Security Act would expand and enhance the US-Israel relationship, provide justice to victims of Palestinian terror, and again allow security and humanitarian assistance that can save the lives of Israelis and a Palestinians. "Today we sent a clear message that bipartisan support for the US–Israel relationship, for the security and civilian cooperation between our countries, and for the ties between the American and Israeli people remains strong and unwavering," said Congressman Deutch.
