Rep Deutch Co-Introduces Resolution Condemning Al-Shabaab
Today, Congressman Deutch (FL-21) co-introduced House Resolution 213, condemning Al-Shabaab’s heinous terrorist attacks at Garissa University College on April 2, 2015.
This attack resulted in the death of at least 147 innocent civilians, injuring over 100 people, and the taking hundreds of students as hostages. This resolution condemns Al-Shabaab's violent actions and effort to divide the Kenyan people. It also reaffirms the United States’ support for the people and government of Kenya and continued commitment end this widespread violence. A copy of House Resolution 213 is available here. |
