Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-21) has signed on as an original cosponsor of H.R. 1130, the Iron Dome Support Act.

The Iron Dome Support Act gives the President the authorization to provide assistance to Israel specifically for the creation and maintenance of additional Iron Dome defense systems. As seen last November, the Iron Dome system is a defense system that works to save thousands of innocent lives in Israel from short- and medium-range rockets entering the country. The Iron Dome is a vital source of protection for Israel from militants in Gaza and will continue to be important as long as threats remain on Israel’s borders.
