“On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the millions of victims who died at the hands of Nazi brutality before liberation troops arrived at Auschwitz 67 years ago today. We must honor those who perished by recommitting ourselves to the task of ensuring such atrocities never plague humankind again. As a member of Congress from South Florida, home to one of the largest populations of Holocaust survivors in the world, I will always do everything in my power to ensure that the loved ones lost in the Holocaust are never forgotten, that their voices are never silenced, and that their quest for justice is never ignored."
