Reps. Deutch and Wasserman Schultz Host Veterans Jobs FairSaturday, December 3rd, Congressman Ted Deutch (FL-19) and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-20) will host a Veterans Jobs Fair at the Fort Lauderdale Armory. This event follows the recent passage of new tax credits for employers who hire unemployed veterans included in President Obama’s American Jobs Act. With so many of our troops returning home to a difficult economy after serving bravely in Iraq and Afghanistan, this event will provide some of our servicemen and women with an opportunity to mingle with local employers interested in hiring a hero.
Congressman Ted Deutch is appreciative of any South Florida media outlet willing to help get the word out for the Veterans Jobs Fair. Just a moment of your airtime or a few lines of print space could help a hero launch a meaningful career after serving our country.
