Congressman Deutch released this statement in reaction to a newly announced rule from the National Labor Relations Board aimed at streamlining bureaucracy in the unionization process:

"The National Labor Relations Board's new rule for union elections represents a commonsense step towards improving our broken and bureaucratic process. The simplification in election standards creates a more streamlined procedure that prevents endless delays aimed at diminishing the rights of America's workers. While this proposed rule leaves many underlying problems in labor elections unaddressed, it brings some much-needed fairness to union organizing in America."
