Congressman Ted Deutch released the following statement on the 9th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took place on September 11th, 2001:
“Today, on the 9th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we remember a day filled with tragedy, sadness, and unparalleled patriotism. Every year we pause to honor the victims of the attacks and their families, and to celebrate the heroism of those who gave their lives in the service of others and to every citizen and first responder that risked everything to save and protect our fellow citizens. The passage of time has not diminished our heartbreak. Let us all hold this day as a memory not only of the tragedy that our nation endured, but also of the strength, resilience, and charity of the American people.”
